The Netherlands: Keukenhof

Spring has come and so do the flowers of Holland blooms.

After the awaited meeting with our friends, the day has finally arrived! I am glad that the weather this day changed from what it is forecasted. It is still cold but it is dry enough to walk around the big garden of Holland. At around this time, I can say that the flowers planted were not that really blooming yet since it is just the beginning of spring. But being in this place and seeing how colorful it is makes me very happy.

The Flowers

Expect to see  lots of flowers in this garden. This is the main purpose of Keukenhof.


During the months that Keukenhof is open, they also have some other activities organized for the visitors. We are lucky to see a Bird show.

With the 32 hectares of land, they don’t only offer flowers. Within the vicinity they also have restaurants, souvenier shops and some other attractions to see.

…and many more. Well I must say nature is really beautiful if we only take good care of it. Lucky to have this being maintained every year. Walking here is like a paradise, always lovely to see and visit.
